Chosen by the ATAC Globe Awards to receive People's Choice Award and Best Actress in a musical in San Antonio for SWEENEY TODD, Woodlawn Theatre presents Broadway musicals of today and tomorrow – at a fraction of Broadway prices. Each show includes performers from San Antonio and some even as far as New York City, and are all excitingly staged musical shows – which can only be seen here in San Antonio.
Internationally acclaimed for its excellence, Woodlawn Theatre has created 4 world premieres and 1 cast album. Former alumni can be seen in musicals as far as New York City. One of these talented alums include Claire Russell (Grease).
We also proudly offer a variety of opportunities for young people – in our Broadway Youth Program and with a host of other educational programs which are always expanding.
